Digitalization - RAW Format conversion
Whether we scan film, copies, or convert digital originals we aim to get as close to the final result as soon as possible in the process in order to minimize the need for corrections. We use state of the art scanners from Dainippon screen, scan view and Imacon Hasselblad. Capture One and Phocus raw file conversion.
Editing
Selecting the right pictures, creating the narrative or story that underscores your editorial piece or brand value is key. We can assist in narrowing down your pool of raw files into the story you wish to convey based on your pictures and a few key words. We will also suggest a level of production, retouching and grading.
Grading and retouching
Working with images has very much to do with understanding the photographer´s and the art-director´s intentions. Some photographers prefer to do everything on set, to minimize post production, while others prefer to add their visual expression afterwards. Communication before the shoot can often save both time and money and when it comes to post production.
Repro - for printing books or magazines
We work together with the photographer to achieve the feeling, contrast, colour and texture that the photographer has in mind. Many factors can effect this when printing, and we can assist in finding the right competence and understanding at the print shop.
PRINTING - proofing and fine art
In this day of digital self publishing and phoneography printing is on the decline, however we still output GMG/EFI contract proofs and small format fine art printing up to 24”x36”.
